I don’t really know how to review a Jackass movie.
This new film follows our now much older (but none the wiser) daredevils who are back for more testicular punishment.
Do you like Jackass? You’ll love the film. We have some of the cleverest and most painful stunts this time around and it all just clicks. I have always had a soft spot for these goofballs, and it was nice to see them again. There is something magical about just sitting down and laughing for an hour and half. We needed this film this year.
I’m not sure where we exactly are as a society when a Jackass movie is not only something we all need, but potentially the best movie of the year so far. These are the heroes we need (and deserve). Honestly, there is a level of love and friendship between these weirdos that is hard to put into words. It is honestly touching.
Anyway, come for the brutal body humor and stay for one of the most shocking lie detector tests ever. Oh, and don’t forget poor Wee-Man being tied down and used as vulture (I think it was a vulture?) bait. And poor Ehren… oh poor Ehren.
This film made me laugh so hard my chest hurt for two days. If that isn’t an amazing review I don’t know what is.
