Despite some unevenness, Game Night proves to be an enjoyable date night film.

With Mother! and Phantom Thread taking up the rest of the week, I found it important to watch another awful horror film because that is what readers of the blog (probably) want.

Strong performances drive the story of an underdog in 1973 that is somehow still relevant today.

A timely and important film.
